Christine has been with Jeffrey Charles & Associates since 1993. She has over 25 years experience in cooperative housing and Community Association Management. She was among the first group of Managers to obtain the RCM 'Registered Cooperative Manager ' designation through the National Association of Cooperatives.


Caren van Wyk- Controller and Vice-President

Caren is the Vice President, Controller and co-owner of Jeffrey Charles & Associates. She joined the company in 2003 and oversees the Accounting and Administrative operations, managing a staff of six. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. After graduation, she worked as an internal auditor at Prudential Insurance and PNC Bank. In 1993, she relocated to Northern Virginia and was employed at Sterling Software as a Senior Accountant. In 1998, she joined the start-up company, Para-Protect Services as the Director of Accounting, and worked there until the company closed in 2002.


Brian J. McDonnell-  Senior Property Manager

Mr. McDonnell has been in Residential Property Management for nearly 5 years and is a licensed Real Estate Agent. Prior to involvement in the Real Estate field, he had 10 years experience as a Paralegal in several practice areas, including extensive work in complex commercial litigation. He is a native of Alexandria, Virginia. 

Omar Davis- Property Manager

Omar has joined Jeffrey Charles after 13 years of Porperty Management experience in the Northern Virginia area. He has acquired his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS). He is currently acquiring his Bachelors Degree in Accounting at George Mason University. He is also a memeber of the Virginia Legislative Action Committee.


Andrea Weaver- Property Manager

Andrea has over 6 years of residential property management experience. She is a licensed realestate agent in Virginia and formerly Arizona. As well as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). She is currently working towards her Bachelors in Property Management.

Natasha Minocha- Accountant

Natasha joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates as an Accountant in November 2008. She  previously served as an AR Systems Support Administrator at Sunrise Senior Living International Headquarters. Graduated with Bachelors of Science in Accounting from George Mason University in 2010 and aspires to continue her education in pursuit of obtaining her CPA designation.

Alhassane Wann- Accountant

Alhassane joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates as a Staff Accountant in February 2007. Since joining the company, he has served as lead accounting contact for 31 properties. He was previously employed by Strayer University Corporate Office as a loan administrator in the financial aide department. Mr. Wann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Strayer University and is currently working on his thesis to complete his Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Maureen Ali- Accountant

Maureen holds an Associates Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. She joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates in 2005 as a Staff Accountant and serves as the Accounts Payable contact for 53 properties, as well as supervising the administrative staff. Prior to 2005, she was employed for five years by the City of Alexandria as a Staff Accountant in the treasury division. Upon leaving her position with the City of Alexandria, Ms. Ali invested in several properties and began managing those properties independently of Jeffrey Charles & Associates.

Liz Krafft- Administrative Assistant

Liz joined Jeffrey Charles in 2006 as Administrative Assistant.  She recieved her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) in 2009. As a committement to the community she is an active nursing assistant in her spare time, caring for those in need of medical support. 


Bernevia McCalip- Administrative Assistant

Bebe joined the staff of Jeffrey Charles in October 2008. She is currently president of the Newington Heights homeowner association and a member of the National Association of Professional Women Organization. Bebe retired as a Management Specialist for the Library of Congress Congressional Research Service. Prior to her Management Specialist position, she was an Economic Analyst for 26 years.


Nichole Savage- Administrative Assistant
